Our yard had a steep slope which required a large amount of fill to level it off and create two tiers. With the pool placed inground, we needed a pool deck and an upper terrace. We originally planned to work with another company, but after meeting with Peter Dandini, we saw the difference and knew Dandini Landscaping was the superior company. What stood out to us was the detail in the quote provided by Peter. We knew exactly what type of work would be completed and what materials were being used, he addressed drainage issues and construction details. There was peace of mind knowing that our investment was being protected.

Peter was very responsive to many questions throughout the process that we had. He was flexible to changes in the plans that happened along the way and offered suggestions to create a stunning oasis. His dedicated team (Bob, Brendan and Myles) were respectful and professional.

It’s our absolute pleasure to recommend Dandini Landscape Company. Although we had originally met Peter when we needed his dumpster service, his name came highly recommended when we needed a backyard makeover. We had decided to have a pool installed and to say that it went badly is an understatement. Overwhelmed with what we were left with, we placed a call to have the yard accessed. Our yard is not flat, stream close by and very little space to work with. Peter worked quickly in providing us with assurance that it would be the escape that we had imagined.

I wanted to take this moment to send you a long-overdue thank you for the project you completed this past September. We had the good fortune of knowing your company from the quality, care and creativity you exhibited in a landscaping project successfully provided for our Slack Brook Rd. home in Leominster several years ago. In considering an upgrade to our Fitchburg home, you were on a very short list for consideration and did not disappoint. We could not be happier with the result… A ++!

For a project that took a number of weeks to complete, your staff was considerate, careful with disruption of property outside the scope and gets high marks for courtesy, professionalism and most importantly results. For those not familiar and reading this letter, there was a pretty substantial wall, stairs and other associated masonry, installation of over 30+ plantings plus landscaping beds/islands and to top it off, installation of a lighting system which serves as the icing on the cake by emphasizing the total project beauty from early evening to the morning hours.

In the summer of 2008, I decided to install a basketball court in my backyard in Sterling, MA. However, I had several obstacles to overcome in order to make this happen. Difficult site conditions and access/egress to my property were major hurdles in making the basketball court dream a reality.

I contacted Dandini Landscaping after viewing several of the landscaping projects through the Sterling and Leominster area. Peter Dandini immediately met with me at my house to review the basketball court project. Peter listened closely to what I wanted, but also suggested alternatives that would make the project more reasonable and aesthetically pleasing.

Over the next month, Peter worked with me on a close to daily basis to plan out and construct the project. Peter handled all the site work conditions which included the removal of over 50 trees, the construction of an access road, building a retaining wall to support the basketball court, and pouring a concrete pad that served as the basketball floor base. In addition, Peter constructed a beautiful campsite area adjacent to the basketball court area complete with a fire pit, newly planted trees, and additional plantings.

The entire project was a difficult one to accomplish but at the end, it turned out to be more than I could have ever imagined. It is now a wonderful area for my family and friends to get together. I highly recommend Peter for any landscape projects. He is professional, reliable, accessible, and a very talented landscape designer/builder. He is thoughtful, has foresight & vision, and most importantly, can turn an idea into a reality.
